friday night smackdown 9/4/010 **spoiler**

The show opens with a Jack Swagger promo. He said he's a changed man and for the better. He said there is not a WWE superstar that can stop his momentum.

John Morrison came out and said Swagger is still the same. He said Swager still has the same silly haircut, same stupid nickname, and the same speech impediment. This pissed off Swagger, who denied the speech issue. Swagger said Morrison is the same too and that his claim to fame is living in the shadow of The Miz.

1. Jack Swagger defeated John Morrison in a non-title match after the gutwrench powerbomb. Apparently Swagger gets a cut near the start and the ref towels his temple off twice.

A video teased that C.M. Punk would convert Darren Young to the Straight Edge Society.

Backstage Chris Jericho spoke to Wade Barrett and said he should still be World Hvt. Champion. Swagger walked in and said that this is what makes him a world champion (as he tapped his belt).

Shad Gaspard came out to new music and tron, but halfway down the ramp he went back and came out to Cryme Tyme's opener. Shad cut a heel promo saying it's time to TAKE what you deserve. JTG ran down but caught a boot from Shad.

2. Drew McIntyre defeated Matt Hardy. McIntyre hit a DDT on the floor and rolled him in for the pin. Much longer than last week's match.

C.M. Punk was about to save Darren Young before he changed his mind. Young attacked Punk and then the Straight Edge Society beat up on Young until Rey Mysterio came out. Mysterio accepted Punk's previous challenge to a match at Extreme Rules. Teddy Long came out and said he doesn't think Chicago wants to wait. He announced Punk vs Rey in a street fight would start right away.

3. Rey defeated CM Punk in a street fight. A weak street fight where only a chair was used sparingly.

Caylen Croft and Trent Baretta came out and cut a promo dubbing themselves the Dudebusters.

4. The Hart Dynasty defeated Dudebusters. DH Smith won the match for his team when he applied the Sharpshooter.

Backstage Josh Matthews interviewed Dolph Ziggler. Josh asked about a sleeper last week and ended up in the sleeper himself.

Edge was warming up in his locker room when he was greeted by Jack Swagger. Edge explained how he was just like Swagger and when he cashed in MITB, he lost the title three weeks later. Edge said he'll win tonight and take the title in three weeks with the spear. Edge said "let me say it so you'll understand... I'll win it... With a sssthpear!" (mimicking Swagger's lisp)

5. Edge and Chris Jericho fight to a double countout. Both men fight into the crowd during the match. At one point it looked like Edge took a drink to the face. Edge speared Jericho and then Swagger came down and he ate a spear as well. Swagger's bit was probably off-air.

Edge cut a pro-Chicago promo putting over the Wrestling Classic tournament and saying that show made him want to perform in front of this crowd. He said next time he wrestles at the Allstate Arena, he will be the World Heavyweight Champion.

che dire, puntata in linea con le ultime: proseguono le storyline ma senza grossi sconvolgimenti, si cerca di dare improvvisamente più spazio al campione (anche al mic), bisogna vedere come reagirà la gente.

bè dopo questo direi che il match a extreme rules diventa scontatissimo.....cmq,ok il hair vs ses ma il match tra i 2 a extreme rules rimane un match normale???

penso di si,hanno anche "sprecato" un match a stipulazione anche se in effetti se il ppv si chiama extreme rules è strano farlo senza stipulazione

ha jobbato al w h champ, non a uno che ha lo status da w h champ. So che hanno messo morrison perchè è uno con un certo status e che quindi da credibilità , però cazzo che palle.

Ovviamente aspetto di vedere la puntata per dare giudizi, però...

...che palle vedere un altro job di Punk a Mysterio: a questo punto sembra "chiaro" (uso le virgolette perché non si dà mai nulla per scontato) che Phil vinca ad Extreme Rules, ma adesso siamo sul 2-0

E poi, se i dati su questi tapings fossero corretti, come fai a realizzare uno street fight, utilizzando soltanto una sedia? A questo punto, per salvare la credibilità, non fate nessun gimmick match, tanto Punk e Rey, con il giusto minutaggio, possono offrire ottime prestazioni.

Geniale Edge con il suo sfottò nei confronti del sibillino Swagger!

Quel che segue è un breve recap di quanto avvenuto ai tapings di Smackdown; chi non vuole avere anticipazioni può attendere il report dello show, online poco dopo la fine della puntata.


Lo show si apre con un promo del campione mondiale Jack Swagger, che si proclama il più grande atleta naturale della WWE dopo il ritiro di Shawn Michaels. L'All-American American viene interrotto da John Morrison, e tra i due viene sancito un match.

Jack Swagger batte John Morrison.

Promo di CM Punk, che annuncia come più tardi convertirà il rookie Darren Young allo stile di vita Straight Edge.

Nel backstage Jack Swagger interrompe un discorso tra Chris Jericho e Wade Barrett dicendo che una cosa è certa: lui è il campione del mondo.

Promo di Shad, che arriva in scena sulle note di una nuova theme song e con la testa rasata. Shad dice che il suo nuovo motto è "My time!", poi irrompe in scena JTG che viene però abbattuto da una violenta clothesline dell'ex compagno.

Drew McIntyre batte Matt Hardy.

La Straight Edge Society al completo prova a convincere Darren Young ad unirsi a loro. Il rookie prima accetta, poi rifiuta e subisce il pestaggio di CM Punk, Luke Gallows e Serena. In suo aiuto accorre Rey Mysterio, che prova anche a rasare Punk ma senza successo.

The Hart Dynasty battono Caylen Croft & Trent Barreta.

Segmento nel backstage tra Josh Mathews e Dolph Ziggler.

Nel backstage Edge incrocia Jack Swagger, e gli dice che lo batterà ad Extreme Rules, pronunciando la frase con la lisca così da deridere il World Champion.

Edge vs. Chris Jericho termina in Double Count-out. Dopo il match interviene Swagger, che subisce una Spear dalla Rated R Superstar, che a sua volta aveva già abbattuto Y2J.

mmmmh, le modalità del match punk-rey (match breve e poco "hardcore", e annuncio di long in questa maniera) mi fanno pensare ai classici dark match (in cui di solito il gm o chi per lui esce e "concede" al pubblico di assistere immediatamente ad una sfida che in realtà si terrà solo in PPV)

speriamo, perchè altrimenti è una cazzata bella e buona

se proprio vogliamo contare dall'inizio del feud ci sbatto dentro anche il match a sd nel pre elimination chamber,quindi 3 a 0,se poi contiamo i pin vincenti,nella gabbia mysterio va a 4 a 0
