ECW on Sci-Fi TV Tapings Results (27/1/2009)

Dark Match:
* Dolph Ziggler b. DJ Gabriel
- Ziggler gets the win following his finisher.

ECW On Sci-Fi: (Airing Tonight)
* ECW opens with Theodore Long in the ring. He says that Matt Hardy has requested his release from ECW and will now be on SmackDown. He then announces that Boogeyman is backstage. Jack Swagger comes out a interrupts him. Swagger says that there is going to be a championship celebration tonight. The Boogeyman comes out and chases him off.

* Ricky Ortiz vs. Boogeyman
- Ortiz comes out and tries to give Boogeyman a rally towel. Boogeyman clotheslines him out of the ring and the ref throws out the match before it gets started.

* A Tribute to the Troops video package is shown.

* Finlay b. Paul Burchill
- Katie Lea is out with Paul Burchill and Hornswoggle is with Finlay. The match goes back and forth for a while until Hornswoggle distracts Burchill long enough for Finlay to gain the advantage. Finlay gets the win following his Celtic Cross finisher. During the match Hornswoggle chases Katie Lea around ringside.

* Backstage Swagger tries to get Tiffany to help him find the missing ECW Championship belt.

* Jack Swagger then confronts Mark Henry about the belt.

* Mark Henry b. Tommy Dreamer
- Mark Henry misses an elbow drop and slams into the ring. Tommy Dreamer goes to the top rope and jumps off. Henry catches him and hits the World's Strongest Slam followed by a pinfall.

* Theodore Long and Jack Swagger head to the ring to get his title back. Theodore Long gets on the mic and calls out whomever stole the title. Finlay makes his way out to ringside. Hornswoggle appears from underneath the ring with the ECW Championship belt. Swagger hits Hornswoggle and Finlay takes him out with a shot to the head to end this week's ECW.

ormai dopo quello che è accaduto alla rumble matt in ECW era sprecato ed il draft ci sta visto anche che ha concluso il suo feud con Swagger.ora mi aspetto anche quello definitivo di Miz & Morrison a Raw e Chavo a SD! visto che sono più la che qua.

Swagger che sembra aver trovato in Finlay il suo prossimo avversario,il che lo farà maturare ancor di più.

Per il resto abbiamo avuto il solito job di Burchill e Dreamer e l'ennesimo no contest di Boogeyman.

Ora però credo che la ECW abbia bisogno di qualche nuovo innesto visto che i suoi wrestler si contano sulle dita di una mano,perchè poi dopo un pò ci si stanca di avere sempre i soliti match visto che i wrestler sono :

Jack Swagger
Mark Henry
Finlay
Evan Buorne che è infortunato
Tommy Dreamer
DJ Gabriel
Ricky Ortiz
Boogeyman
Paul Burchill

Un pò pochi anche per uno show senza pretese di un ora,ma che ha un titolo da dover difendere quasi sempre in PPV e li almeno dovrebbero esseci 3-4 wrestler in grado di ben figurare negli show a pagamento.

Matt Hardy a SD torna a fare l'Uppercarder di lusso.

Esaurita la faida con Jeff, per Matt non ci sono altri sbocchi da heel. Con QUESTO in ballo, i due fratelli non possono coesistere troppo a lungo nello stesso roster.
Questo vuol dire pure che, per Matt, le prospettive di un lancio nei piani altissimi se ne vanno nel cesso perchè, obiettivamente, il feud con Jeff lo perderà.
