19/12/2010 - The Santa’s Little Helper Match featuring WWE Diva Melina as a heel did not air on last night’s Tribute to the Troops special on NBC. The match will however air on the two-hour special this Wednesday night on USA. It’s possible that Melina’s heel turn will come on this Monday’s RAW.
OPINIONI:
19/12/2010 - Jim Ross has a new blog entry up, with the main highlights below:
On Tribute to the Troops: I hope that you will check out the Tribute to the Troops on NBC tonight. Check your local listings for the one hour version. The two hour version airs on USA next Wednesday night and both shows are in prime time.
On Kane’s Chances at TLC: Kane won’t retain the World Title with 3 viable adversaries to contend with in the Fatal Four Way TLC championship bout. Edge is my favorite to win it but Alberto Del Rio winning wouldn’t shock me.
On The Miz’s Chances at TLC: Not sure how he will ‘get ‘er done’ but Miz will retain the WWE Title or so I feel against Randy Orton. I might be wrong but it seems as if Miz’ unlikely journey is just getting underway. If Miz isn’t the WWE Champion come WM27 I’ll be surprised.
On The IC Title Match at TLC: Seems like Vickie Guerrero could be the deciding factor for Dolph Ziggler to retain the IC Title against Jack Swagger and Kofi Kingston in the Triple Threat ladder match. The outcome of this one is a head scratcher to me and if any of the three won it wouldn’t totally shock me. Hopefully the IC Title in the coming months will garner more focus.
SPOILER:
19/12/2010 - The main event for the WWE SmackDown taping on Decemeber 28 has been changed. The main event was originally a 6-man tag match featuring the Big Show, Edge and Rey Mysterio vs. Jack Swagger, Alberto Del Rio and World Champion Kane. It has now been changed to World Heavyweight Champion Kane vs. Edge for the title.
X ASMODEO:
19/12/2010 - Brodus Clay noted on a recent episode of NXT that he previously worked as rapper Snoop Dogg’s bodyguard. It would appear that the Brodus Clay ring name was inspired by his former colleague, as the rapper’s last name is Broadus.
SPECIAL GUEST REFEREE:
19/12/2010 - The dark match main event for the next few weeks of WWE Monday Night RAW tapings is John Cena and Randy Orton vs Wade Barrett and The Miz with special guest referee Michael Cole.
No word yet if WWE plans to have Cole referee on TV or pay-per-view in the special guest role yet.
