friday night smackdown 25/6/10 **spoiler**

- Rey Mysterio did not appear on the show. He was pulled from last weeks local TV advertising, so this was not a huge surprise to me, but still odd considering he just won the title.

- Teddy Long and Vickie did a backstage segment explaining how over the next few weeks they will be evaluating all the Smackdown talent and selecting the EIGHT participants in the Smackdown MIB match. Drew interrupted complaining about the PPV match. Teddy said that in Vince's absence, the Board of Directors have instructed him to run Smackdown as he sees fit. With this, Teddy informed Drew that he would have a match tonight against the newly reinstated Matt Hardy.

- Big Show defeated Jack Swagger via disqualification when Swagger would not release an ankle lock. On his way to the ring
, Swagger cut a promo and said he is invoking his rematch clause at MIB

- Christian, Kofi & MVP defeated Ziggler, Hawkins & Archer

- Matt Hardy defeated Drew with a Twist of Fate. Matt came to ring in a T-shirt, took it off and was wearing a singlet top underneath, it was embarrassing. Less Twitter, more cardio Matt. After the match Teddy was shown on the Tron and informed Drew that after doing some investigating, he found out that Drew's visa has expired and was in the country illegally. He then instructed security to help send him back to Scotland and had him removed from the building.

- Ziggler told Vickie he wants an IC title match or he's breaking it off with her.

- Cody Rhodes cut a promo about how the WWE Divas voted him 'Most Handsome' male superstar. He now wants to be referred to as Dashing Cody Rhodes. Looks like he jumped the gun on the "Uncommon" Cody Rhodes ring gear.

- Kelly Kelly w/ Tiffany defeated Rosa in about 5 seconds. LayCool were on commentary.

- Kane kinda/sorta defeated CM Punk in a no disqualification match. Lots of SES interference and table breaking. Kane and Punk fought through the crowd and out to the concession and merchandise area. Punk eventually just ran out the front door and across the street. Kane didn't follow him. Show over.
