iMPACT! Tapings for 26.02.09
TNA Impact spoilers covering this Thursday and part of an upcoming episode:
-The Beautiful People defeated Taylor Wilde & Madison Rayne after Rayne slapped Taylor and abandoned her.
-TNA Tag Team champions Beer Money Inc. defeated The Rock N' Rave in an Off the Wagon Challenge when Robert Roode defeated Lance Hoyt.
-Mike Tenay interviews the Main Event Mafia inside the ring. Tenay asks Sting if he will defend the TNA title against Kurt Angle at Destination X. Kevin Nash says he is the spokesperson and claims that everything within the Mafia and they are still a family. Tenay says it doesn't seem like they are united. Nash says that Tenay works for Jeff Jarrett and it was Jarrett who wanted them to kill each other in the first place. Nash said they don't have to always get along but they respect each other. He says TNA cannot beat them. Jeff Jarrett comes out and says he is seeing firsthand that Sting isn't buying any of this crap. Jarrett asks Sting where his integrity is after Angle spit right in his face. He says Sting and Angle are polar opposites and as the founder of TNA, he is allowing Angle to challenge Sting at the PPV. Booker T asked Jarrett why he founded a company of nobodies and that without the Mafia, TNA would be nothing. Jarrett told Sting and Angle he would see them later for a contract signing.
-Don West takes a house mic and announces that earlier this week, TNA management had a meeting with him about his future in the company. He says that Mike Tenay didn't do anything to defend West and tried to stay neutral. West said that Tenay is a "selfish pr***" and says that he knows two things - that their friendship will never be the same and Tenay can stick the mic West is holding up his a**.
-TNA X-Division champ Alex Shelley won a Four Way Ladder Match over Jay Lethal, Chris Sabin, and Consequences Creed. Suicide attacked all four and then held up the X-Division championship.
-Sojo Bolt and Rhaka Khan come out and call out Awesome Kong and Saeed, then defeat them. Kong destroys them both afterwards.
-Jeff Jarrett comes out and brings out the Main Event Mafia. Kevin Nash tells Jeff that just as Booker T told him earlier, the match is not happening. Jarrett asked Angle, "Aren't you the Godfather of the Mafia?" He compares Kurt Angle to Al Pacino and says the difference is that Angle doesn't have the balls like a real Godfather would. Angle takes the contract, then lays out Jarett. Mick Foley hits the ring but Angle grabs him in an anklelock. Sting comes out with a bat, nails Angle, then signs the contract.
-TNA X-Division champ Alex Shelley defeated Kiyoshi. Suicide attacked both members of the Motor City Machineguns and laid them out afterwards, holding up the X-Division title belt.
-LAX come out. Hernandez says that they will take Beer Money Inc.'s challenge tonight and get back their TNA Tag Team championship.
-Mick Foley comes out and introduces TNA champion Sting. Foley thanks Sting for saving him "last week." Foley said that he watched the Academy Awards and Mickey Rourke nearly won the Oscar for The Wrestler. Foley said that the type of person Randy the Ram was could have been him if he hadn't dropped an elbow on Sting back in the day. Foley said that back then Sting saved him and now he wants to save Sting. Foley says that he wants to think that we've seen the last of Sting as a member of the Main Event Mafia and that TNA needs Sting. Sting says that he appreciates the words but he can't just let Angle control the Mafia and notes he has no problems with any of the other members. Kevin Nash, Booker T and Scott Steiner come out. Nash said he thought The Wrestler sucked and tells Foley to shut up. He tells Sting that Foley is in the office and not really one of the boys. Sting says that Angle didn't respect him when he spit in Sting's face. Nash said they can battle and no matter what, the TNA belt will stay in the family, or Sting can turn his back on the family. Nash tells Sting that the decision is his.
-Don West was out for an on camera segment for the second episode but left.
-Kurt Angle and Jay Lethal came brawling out from backstage in suits. Angle laid Lethal out and took his suit. It appeared this was something that started backstage that wasn't shown live to the crowd.
-LAX defeated TNA Tag Team champions Beer Money Inc. by DQ when they nailed Hernandez with a chair. Team 3D hit the ring for the save and challenged Beer Money to a match at Destination X.
-Kurt Angle comes out and says, "Hey boss", referring to Jeff Jarrett. He promises to eat up Jarrett as an appetizer and that Sting will be the main course at Destination X. Jarrett comes out in street clothes. He and Angle brawl through the Impact Zone and he finally throws Angle out of the building and slams the door on him. Jarrett, Team 3D and Mick Foley congratulate Jarrett and they all celebrate in the ring.

the beautiful people def taylor wilde and roxxi, sojourner bolt and rhaka khan and awesome kong and rasisha saeed in un four-team knockouts tag team when Angelina Love pin Roxxi because of outside interference from Madison Rayne
Booker t e Scott Steiner come out the ring and cut a promo. Booker wants AJ Styles to come out and give him his back legends championship belt and forget about the whole mess. AJ's music hit and he comes throug the crowd from behind and hit Scott steiner with the belt then goes after Booker. Steiner and Booker are able to start double teaming Styles but he is able to slide out of the ring with the title. Three SWAT guys come out and take the belt away from Styles. One SWAT guy stayed behind and Steiner got in his face. Another SWAT guy took off his helmet face gear off and it's Samoa Joe. Joe laid out Steiner and put a machete to his neck. TNA security came out and Joe went to the back

TNA returned to the Impact Zone on Tuesday night to conclude taping TV for the March 12 show which takes place a few days before Destination X on PPV.
Quick results saw:
- Kurt Angle cut a promo which was interrupted by Jeff Jarrett, who Angle wanted to fight. Mick Foley hit the ring and said if Angle wants a fight, it should be with him. They went face-to-face before Foley backed down and left the ring.

- The main event saw Kurt Angle pick one of the MEM’s bodyguards to fight on his behalf, while Sting picked Eric Young. Young got the win. Post-match, Angle attacked Sting. Mick Foley came out to help Sting but Steiner and Kevin Nash hit the ring. Jeff Jarrett then hit the ring and took out the bodyguards. Jarrett announced that Destination X will feature a main event of Sting vs. Kurt Angle for the TNA title with Jarrett as referee and Mick Foley as ringside enforcer.

*The Main Event Mafia come out to the ring. Kurt Angle said that everything he predicted for Destination X came true and that it was the biggest screwjob since Montreal. Yes, since Montreal. Sting tells Angle that he has been loyal to the Mafia but it's Angle he has a problem with. Nash sides with Sting and says that he owed Angle nothing. Nash says that he does owe the rest of them something since the last two PPVs, Sting has had his hands raised by Mick Foley. Sting asks Nash what does he want him to do. Angle says he wants Sting to be his partner tonight against Mick Foley and Jeff Jarrett. Jarrett comes out and reminds Angle that he is just a wrestler, not a member of management and he doesn't make the matches. Angle says Jarrett is just trying to protect Sting, that Sting is a liar and Foley is on the inactive list. Foley comes out and asks Sting if he is the decider and that he never ever said he's wrestled his last match. Foley says he's in for the main event. Angle tells Jarrett to "Man Up" (Briscoes, represent yo). Jarrett accepts and said it all ends tonight.
*Scott Steiner wore a hoodie over his face to mask whatever Samoa Joe "did to him" at the PPV.
Team No Limit defeated The Motor City Machineguns. Beer Money attacks No Limit and lays them out. Robert Roode takes the mic and says they want to apologize to Team 3D for how they acted last night at the PPV. He says that he knows Team 3D is going to ask for a rematch at Lockdown and that's what they want, a rematch in Philadelphia inside the Six Sides of Steel. He said that when they beat 3D in Philly, they will finally get the respect they deserve. Brother Ray comes out and offers to put the IWGP Tag Team belts against the TNA Tag belts in a battle for true dominance. Ray said when they win, they'll be 22 time tag team champions. Storm says it won't be an off the wagon challenge because they want 3D around to know that they used to be the best, but now its Beer Money. All four have a staredown.

Sbaglio o per colpa di Foley, Sting adesso è + nella MEM di prima?(Cioè, adesso Angle si riunirà a Sting ed ai MEM per combattere il potere TNA + FrontLine).
MEM vs FrontLine atto 2: Ovvero quanto riuscirà ad andar avanti sto feud con soluzioni decenti e soprattutto con Sting campione?

Io aspetterei Sacrifice..glielo frego, e iniziam a far storyline serie. Per convincere Foley, ci vorrà anche il titolo mondiale, non penso si abbasserà a così poco per un Hardcore match in uno Steel Cage a 6 lati..ok che contro Sting..però.. |

**SPOILERS** iMPACT! Results For 26/3
Before Impact tapings started all the TNA talent came down to the ramp for a announcement by Jim Cornette.
Standard video opening for impact MINUS the pyro as they cut straight to Jim Cornette in the middle of the ring to announce that at lockdown in Philly there will be a lethal lockdown match then cornette goes on to explain the rules of the lethal lockdown match and announces that tonight's main event will be a 20 man steel cage gauntlet match and the last 2 standing will be this year's captains. then out comes Kurt Angle with mafia in tow minus sting. and says tonight that he will win the gauntlet match and be a captain and goes on to says that on his team would be Booker T, Nash and and Steiner. Then Jarrett music hits and he says he is in the match tonight to make sure that doesn't Happen. then they begin to brawl and Jarrett is separated by the TNA frontline and the mafia hold back Kurt.
The 1st match of the night is Kiyoshi w/ team no limit vs suicide for the x-division championship
Pre match Tna management hands out the new suicide shirt so it looks like there are tons of suicide fans in attendance
Pretty good opening match for impact lots of good high action spots, the match ends when suicide does his finisher on Kiyoshi to get the easy pinfall victory and retain the x-division title.
Next match was Kong and siheed vs the Beautiful people w/ Madison rayne but no cute kip
Sky starts out the match against siheed and then she tags to love who points to Kong and siheed tags in Kong and she goes on to manhandle love. end of the match saw sky get the pinfall on siheed,while love attacks Kong on the outside and distracts her long enough so sky can get the pinfall and the victory.
Post match saw the beautiful people attack Kong and attempt to cut Kong's dreads but doesn't get the chance to as she runs them off.
Next up is a segment with Sting and Foley, sting calls out Foley to explain why he has been hit with a steel chair the past 2 weeks. Foley comes out and shows the video of the week before main event and says he was woozy from Kurt angle's chair shot during the match and he saw sting had jarett guitar and saw that he was in danger so that is why Foley used the chair on him to get the win. and Foley does accept the match for lockdown so it will be icon vs legend at lockdown sting vs Mick Foley. Foley says he isn't retired yet and still has a few good matches left in him. and that lockdown is being more talked about than that "other" wrestling event in April.
a ring staff comes out to install the 6 sides of steel for tonight 20 man gauntlet main event which is next!!!
The rules for the gauntlet match is 2 people begin in the ring and every 2 minutes another one enters the cage and the last 2 remaining are the captains for lethal lockdown.
The 1st 2 people in the cage are abyss and legends champ AJ styles, and then next out is Alex shelly and then jay lethal and then Chris sabin enters and then matt Morgan comes in, no elimations yet, matt Morgan gets out via abyss and then in comes homicide into the match and then strainer enters the cage then homicide is out via sabin, then creed enters the cage followed by Rhino then jarett is next BUT angle cuts him off and beats him up ringside and is taken to the back. then next in is 1 of the team no limit guys then Alex shelly is out via jay lethal then in comes Kurt Angle next who makes creed tap out to the ankle lock then lethal goes out via angle the no limit guy gets out via strainer then next out is Shane only to get angle slammed and getting elimated by angle. then next comes in bashir followed by Booker T, AJ styles is out via booker T,booker T is out via rhino,next in is the 2nd team no limit guy,bashir is out via angle,next in is Eric young,Abyss is out via strainer,Eric is out via angle, no japan is out via rhino,rhino is out via angle,next in is herandez,herandez is out via angle,jarett then finally enters the cage with tape on his shoulder and get double teamed by angle and Scott strainer,strainer get eliminated by jarett then angle pins Jarett thanks to help from strainer and then the last guy in the cage is Samoa Joe who manhandles angle for the pinfall and the win. after the end of the match pyro goes of for Joe winning the match. so at lockdown we have team JOE vs team angle in lethal lockdown.
