Visto che se ne parlava...
Teresa Palmer wants to play Talia al Ghul in "The Dark Knight Rises"
In 2007 George Miller signed on to direct a live action Justice League film. Characters were cast, costumes were designed, and story boards were completed. The film never took off though, and it was canceled about a year later. With rumors that Christopher Nolan is meeting with actresses for leading roles in The Dark Knight Rises, many fans have speculated what these female roles could be. Will we see Catwoman, a love interest for Bruce, or maybe even Talia al Ghul? One actress who hopes it’s the latter is Teresa Palmer, who was ready to play Talia in the canceled Justice League project. In an exclusive interview with MovieWeb, Palmer expresses interest in the Talia character, and wants Christopher Nolan to know she’s available. Here’s an excerpt from the interview:
“I’ve definitely put the feelers out there with my agents and that would be something I would be really glad to have happen,” Palmer replied. “I doubt I would be one of the actresses high up on Nolan’s list. I think they are definitely going after woman with a much bigger profile than I,” she added. “It is the longest shot in history for sure but I’ve put my name out there with my agents and things. So we’ll see who ends up doing that role. My managers made the phone calls but I’m pretty sure that they will end up going with a big name girl.”
Is it possible that her agents know something about Talia al Ghul being in The Dark Knight Rises? Sure, but I don’t think that’s the case. My interpretation from this interview is that Palmer was excited to play Talia three years ago, and wants to put her name out there since there’s rumors that Nolan is meeting with actresses. Who wouldn’t want to be in Christopher Nolan’s final Batman movie after the success of The Dark Knight? I’d love to hear what you guys think in the comments.

Talia è solo una delle tante seghe mentali dei fan, spero e non credo che Nolan riaprirà la questione Ra's. |

Io riporto...
There is a rumor going around that "The Dark Knight Rises" will be based on "Prey," a storyline that appeared in "Legends of The Dark Knight" comic book issues #11-15. If you look at the story, all the previous rumors fall nicely into place.
"Prey" features prominent Gotham psychiatrist Dr. Hugo Strange, who uses his influence on the mayor to form a task force to capture the vigilante Batman, the object of Strange's obsession. Heading this task force is the newly promoted Commissioner Gordon, who must weigh his responsibilities to Gotham against his loyalties to Batman. Meanwhile, Dr. Strange deduces Batman's true identity and plays mind games with him, finally attempting to kill the Dark Knight in order to become him.
At the end of "The Dark Knight," Lt. Gordon (Gary Oldman) becomes Police Commissioner, while Batman is considered a criminal. This sets up "Prey" perfectly. In addition, it was previously rumored that Tom Hardy will be playing Hugo Strange. That also fits. And it was said (and hinted in "The Dark Knight") that Catwoman will show up. That fits as well, since Catwoman is part of "Prey."
Finally, Teresa Palmer (The Sorcerer's Apprentice) has been campaigning to play Talia al Ghul, the daughter of Ra's al Ghul, a character from "Batman Begins." Since this is the last installment (according to Christian Bale), having Talia al Ghul would tie up the trilogy nicely.
The story has no room for The Joker or The Riddler, both characters that Nolan said he will not use in "The Dark Knight Rises."
