Si, l'austin-benoit è quello che hai postato tu.

Vi consiglio a tutti di guardarlo, col tempo si è dimenticato, ma è davvero un bel match. E' un consiglio che rivolgo anche al Rookie del 2009, che vedo che non lo ha votato.

Vorrei aprire una discussione sull'HIAC tra Taker-Lesnar.Secondo me spesso viene bistrattato e dimenticato.Se il primo va ricordato per la sua unicità,epicità e per aver settato gli standard per gli HIAC,il secondo per la sua spettocolarità,questo secondo è degno di essere ricordato per la violenza che si vide,l'intensità che i due ci misero,e per aver finalmente rispettato quello che doveva essere l'elemento principale del match,ovvero il fatto che una volta entrati nella gabbia,non si poteva scappare,dovevi stare e sputare l'anima per vincere,niente fughe rocambolesche sul tetto,solo lo scontro più violento della tua vita,nella sua semplicità risultò essere originale.
Per me,è come minimo a parimerito con HHH-Foley del 2000,se non superiore,essendoci il quel match molti richiami agli scontri precedenti.Certo,grande intesità,sopratutto per storyline di Foley al ritiro,cosa molto sentita,io però voglio andare contro-corrente.

Visto che in pochi lo hanno votato vi consiglio ancora caldamente di visionare Austin vs Benoit, si svolse in quel di Edmonton, scambi stupendi di sharpshooter, 10 german suplex consecutivi di Benoit, e altro, insomma vale la pena vederlo.

E' il più bel match hardcore e brawl che abbia mai visto.
Il feud è stato costruito ottimamente, ed ha lanciato HHH, è probabilmente il match più importante della sua carriera, perchè ha dimostrato pienamente di cosa era capace, e di essere un dei più grandi brawlers e heel di sempre.

Il match contiene continui riferimenti storici di Foley a suoi match del passato, ed è quindi un riassunto di Foley.

Il match è di una violenza inaudita, ma non è solo violenza, è anche costruito in modo fantastico, non c'è mai una fase di rallentamento, il match ha continui ribaltamenti di fronte, non si risparmiano e sembra proprio che vogliano porre fine alla vita dell'avversario.

Poi c'era la splendida atmosfera del MSG, che fece aumentare ulteriormente l'epicità della contesa.

E' un match che non mi stancherò mai di rivedere...
